It started as a dream
The idea for Pool Netr started as a dream Steve and Kerri Goltare, longtime pool owners, have always wondered why their pool nets never lasted. Frames would break, nylon netting would frequently tear, and each season they would have to replace these inexpensive nets, sometimes more than once a season. Steve kept thinking about building a better swimming pool net, a quality, American-made skimmer — and it was a dream he couldn’t ignore. Over and over he tested designs and ideas until he arrived at what we have today: three distinct lines under one brand – Pool Netr™.

Steve & Kerri Goltare have been married since 1991, became successful entrepreneurs in the plastic injection molding business. In 1996 Westar Plastics, LLC. began its journey of developing high quality, American Made products. Steve & Kerri working together raising a family of three girls. Daniella (1991-2015), Emillee & Hayley. As well as the proud grandparents of 5 beautiful grandchildren – Kinsleigh, Quinn, Everette, Silas and Jameson.
Pool Netr was added to the mix in 2014 due to frustration over the need to purchase & replace multiple pool skimmers per season. Steve decided to make a skimmer that would hold up to the test of time.
A variety of colors in durable – UV resistant resin, making this the best skimmer yet!
